We only ever seem to have desktop background threads, so seeing as I've spent all day putting my new desk together, how about a desk/rig thread?

Lets have some specs as well guys!

OS: Ubuntu 7.04

Also on the desk is a Bush LCD Monitor/TV hooked up to Sky downstairs via a digisender and a PS2.

Desk and cupboards are the morgan office range.

Mine's steel and isn't much fun when it needs moving lol

They're a good roomy case, was going to get a new one when I upgraded but saw sense and kept it

nah couple of raid 0 setups for music and programs and games

there all smallish drives only adds up to about 1.2Tb

Aye - looks a tad similar that case!

The worst bit about it is that fan at the base of the chassis - totally stupid location in terms of getting leads around it. I've ditched it this time and placed it behind the orange Akasa fan near my gfx cards. Twin-fan-tunnel-POWER..... lol!

Cheers J273 - :approve:. Tbh honest, it's pretty much an above average spec these days - not the rocketship it used to be. Still, it performs well enough for me to tick the eye-candy boxes most of the time!
