That's right, I'm on the V6 hype now.

Okay, it's only a 2.4. But it's much more power and torque than I've become used to. Actually loving it too! Had to pick it up from the other side of birmgham, and on the way back (even with the M6 Toll on route ;)) I managed to average 47MPG. Bitchin'

It's a 1999 T Plate, with 138k on the clock. SE Spec with full cream leather and all the other usual toys. Cost me all of £1k with 6months tax and MOT. Well happy with that! Insurance is affordable too.

No good pictures yet...

Plans are to get it cleaned up, fix little niggles. Then see how I feel from there. Kinda enjoying having a car I can just waft along in. And if I get bored, the loud pedal will quickly empty my wallet in exchange for smiles.

Same as my brothers (Although his is a 1.8SE with Black Leather), really nice sofa to get from A - B and the build quality is nice and solid, very dull though.

Have to agree with Turkish, the Golf was much more 'interesting'

I fancied something dull but with a nice engine and comfy, pretty much fits the spec.

Comfy until you add 'stance'?

Nice barge if not a slightly odd choice for an 18 year old!

How the hell did you get 47mpg out of a 2.4 V5....

It will blend in well though.

I'm sure you and your crew will scene it up to f**k, but at the moment it looks s**t, and you no doubt will look s**t driving it.

Now's the point where you wish you didn't turn the golf into "that" whilst you sit there and have to take a big loss on it surely?

I'm not sold on the new waft wagon, but you'll get bored and "Jason" it soon enough.

Wow.. You guys are nice

It's not a bad car.. It's okay for the price.. Nice buy mate looks pretty good!

  Never above 25mpg
Looks fine Jason! Nice buy. If it was an accord I'm sure you'd have uber respect.

Still have the Golf?

I had one of these, average of around 25mpg for me (same v6 engine) it was faster than i expected it to be, but was very dull, its gone now, still have the spare wheel from it though.

I thought this would be good when I saw 'V6'.

I feel like I have just been told Father Christmas doesn't exist.
