Well let's hope upon hope that someone with the necessary powers will be along shortly to move this thread to its rightful home.
I'll certainly sleep easier.
Opinions on value
Clio Sport 172 Ph2 (2002)
82K very little service history, new cam belt at 56K so possibly due?
12Month MOT, 6 months tax. Climate and Xenons.
Down side is, there are a few dinks in some panels where it looks like someone's hit it wth something, not very hard but enough to...
oh yes, goes without saying, I'm just really struggling with time/new job/study and I'm driving the car paranoid, and probably rightly so, but this at least makes me comfortable that it'll wait a week or two until I can make the time to get it sorted.

I've just sold my Boxster S to part fund a house extension and picked up a 172, which I love by the way.
Dismayed to find that the insurance on what I thought was a cheaper run about, is about the same!!!!
36YO female, 5 years NCB no ACC's....The Box was £785, the Clio.....a whopping £845...
I've been searching the gazillion threads on the topic and can't find an answer so please excuse me for posting up ANOTHER cambelt thread.
2002 Clio 172, 75,000 miles and no record of a cambelt change, so it needs sorting.
Firstly, how much are the specialist locking tools?
Secondly...
