I have similar problem but with idling on my 172 cup. I have changed plugs to standard and magnecor leads with still no joy. I am getting some ecu remapping software next week with all gear so gonna give that a go see if it makes a difference. Will let you all know and if it does will do some...
My 172 cup runs like a dog at idle all the time but still has all the power through the rev range. Changed plugs, put in Magnecor 8.5mm Leads changed Lambda sensor and still missfires on idle even when hot. Just gotta live with it really.lol
Hi wizard yes I do use optimax at all times. Will prob end up replacing filter with another panel one. Wanna keep completely standard so no 57i kit.

yeah got a 2 year warranty. Its one of those RAc 5 star ones. I thought plugs were due every 36k on these? Will check my booklet for that mate.

Hi all i got a 172 cup serviced 5 k ago and runs lumpy as hell between 1 and 3 thousand revs. Tickover is missfiring like mad. It has 41 k on it so i would presume last service was a major one?(i didnt do service as recently got it) Full Renault history.
