Glad it found a good home :) I think I had the brakes done before the MOT in June at the same time I put the new tyres on the front as both were picked up in the service as needing doing in the next few months. Not 100% sure about the brakes but if there was an advisory on the last service...

I was curious how much markup the dealer was going to make on this car so did a quick search on the reg plate and found this thread. I was a bit confused about it being arctic and was wondering if it had been cloned before I noticed the correction. Anyway, I bought this car new with both cup...

    Local advice - Middlesbrough

If this is the wrong place to post this please point me in the right direction. I have a 182 that is just over three years old. It was running fine with no problems up until recently. My mistake was to take it into the local Renault dealer, who for the bargain price of about £540 serviced it...

    michelin exaltos??

That may be where the confusion is coming from. The OP was talking about tyres on a cupped 182. That's what I have and I think the standard tyre size on it are 205/45 R16.

    michelin exaltos??

Had to replace 3 recently. The two fronts lasted nearly 14k which I thought was pretty good; maybe I'm not trying hard enough. ;) The third one was because one of the rear tyres had been losing pressure for about a month and I asked the place fitting the new ones to check it out thinking...

Your Honest Opinions of the 182 ... ?

I've had a 182 with both packs from new for 16 months and done 14k miles. I use it as my main car but only do about 25 miles a day commuting. Very pleased with the car and zero problems. Interesting comments above as regards getting used to performance. For me it's not really the absolute...

Strange rumbling at 2.5K Revs when cold

How long does the noise last if you hold at those revs? Why do you think it is the engine rather than the transmission?

    Oil temperature gauge

Am I just being even dumber than usual, or is there no oil temperature readout on the 182? Even my saxo has one of these and Id like to be able to see how long my new toy takes to get up to temperature before I can start playing, especially during running in.

    Question on wing mirrors

Just taken delivery of my new 182. Everything looks OK apart from front splitter which is slightly skew on one side. Back in next Friday though for them to have another go at fitting it properly. Everything present and correct apart from mat clips. Dealer claimed they are no longer supplied...

    Hello all

Thanks for the warm welcome. :) It will be interesting to compare how the new 182 compares to the VTS in terms of performance and handling on the local twisties, and Ill see if I can sort out some pics when it arrives.

    oh dear oh dear

Could have been worse. When I saw the "Side Air Intake vents" in the title a sick, perverted image of a 1.2 with sticky out bits on the side, and a 17 year old explaining to his Chav mates that these new Clio V6s are the dogs danglies, came unbidden to mind. *shudder* Im recovering nicely...

    Hello all

Ive been lurking in this group for the last few months while I was deciding on which new car to go for and youve managed to convince me that a new 182 is the way to go; so its all your fault ;) But seriously, thanks for the helpful information posted here - I found answers to all my questions...
