    I have put the handbrake cable to the dvd player on the black spade to the handbrake switch and the dvd player works as it is meant to, but my handbrake light stays on but dimmer what have I done wrong.

    They only cost about £8 if it is the thermostat I would not leave it for too long.

    I found out what it was on my car it was the back shock a washer inside the dustcover rattling around, so I took it out as I think it just stops the dust cover from faling all the way down the shock, rattle gone.
