I think you can download from Microsoft as a ISO if you have the product key. As previously said you can create a bootable USB key they copy the ISO onto this, set the bios to boot from USB then swap the drive for the SSD. It should install from there.
I am tempted by this now, a good sales job by you guys at the meet yesterday, the route through Sandy, Potton and down to Royston to hit the A10 is a good quick route will not much traffic, much better then heading along the A428 and down the M11.
Nice pics! Thanks for the warm welcome chaps, unfortunately I had to head off early but will be up for the next meet, hopefully in better weather. It is expensive though, I am now thinking of a new exhaust, wheel refurb etc etc, as well as coming to Duxford!
1. Scotty-boi (ph1 172) + jaybub (R26R) came to brewers meet!
2. Euan94 (mx5)
3. scaryopa (lil blue 182)
4. DanB720 (GW 200)
5. TrophyClio -put me in as a maybe, work depending.
Were you looking to move to Abbeyfields? I think the car was spotted by a house hunter and was posted on here, if I had know I would have thrown in the Clio for free if they bought my house!
Just signed up for full membership to post in these areas, I am in Bedford so would be up for a meet. I will try to get along to the next one if it happens in the Trophy.
All of the missing history and the mileage hits the value completely, however it is still a Trophy, so as long as it has the relevant features that are unique to the car then there will still be some value to it. Prices are dropping quite a bit, especially as 197s are now coming down, I was...
The bit of Abbeyfields I am in is not too bad, I think it is the bit behind the school which tends to be a bit dodgy, there are certainly much bigger and more expensive houses near me which must be a good sign!
