I've been out of the clio game for a while now! (last logged in about a year ago!)
I've decided I may make a comeback though so hello again cliosport.
What do you think of the following 182...
I'm selling some alloys, and to attract more buyers would like to put what car they will fit (eg saxo/astra/corsa)
They were previously fitted to a mk2ph1 non-sport CLIO
ET 35
PCD 100
Center Bore 72
Any ideas?

Chuffed is not to word :D. An awsome machine, much more refined than the clio with a ridiculously greater grunt. P/X the clio on saturday and I've not looked back since. German ftw!
I use to have an ida-x100 and am looking for todays latest equivilant model (tbh that one was fine and did everything i wanted)
im guessing its this? whats the differences between this and the older ida-x100?

I'm looking at a few of these, obviously not for a clio but still. What is good? I really dont want to splash out on a touchscreen one but it needs to have ipod connectivity/control.
I previously had an alpine ida-x100 which was perfect in terms of ipod control etc.

After much hard work and help from some ppl on the forum (you know who you are guys... thanks!) ... still not completely finished. If you notice the light goes dim again at circa 6000 rpm (which is when i should have shifted by anyway as the power drops around...
Just 6 little screws holding on your steering wheel? I've had mine fitted for 6months+ with no problems but now that I went to change the horn button (and needed to fit a ring with new screws) it got me thinking... how much should I tighten these up? I did them up as tight as I could by hand but...
After ripping my dials apart to do a led bulb conversion my speedo needle is no longer moving. It moves slightly about 5mm then stops no matter what speed your doing. I have tried reseating the needle.
Also another thing to notice - when you move the other needles they move up and 'feel'...
Does anyone know which of the wires on the back of the dials is the one for the dash leds? (ie turns the dash lights on when you turn on sidelights/dipped/main beam)
Primer has come up a different colour/shinyness for the patches that have been filler up (using p38), even though I made sure to sand very well after filling and the surface was left very smooth! (240>600>1500)

probably simple (ish) fixes? All to do with how my exhaust sounds :)
1 - I think the exhaust is blowing again from the cat>centre section clamp. Last time I took it to an exhaust place that fixed it up (resealed the joint) for £5 and that totally fixed it but after about 3 months its blowing...
Recently had the car lowered (60mm on shocks and springs)
Not sure if that has anything to do with it but sometimes when turning the wheel i feel/hear a 'click' almost like when the steering lock is deactivated/activated. Not sure if it is anything to worry about but its become more and more...
Got something to fit and have the following instruction
"GREEN WIRE - on standard ignition green wire attaches to coil negative"
It has other wires too (red +ve, black -ve and a yellow 'dimmer option' which i dont want)
But where does this wire go? can it just go off the RPM feed to the dials?

If not im not too bothered I never use the radio anyway but would be nice to retain this function
