Loads more torque than the 197, power in any gear when you need it but it does love to rev when you push it!

Thats exactly what i do, 4 miles a day and usually a decent run every other weekend! Great all rounder tbh! Cant recommend one enough :)

Haha funny you should say that, i was thinking of taking them off aswell! The spoiler isnt big but i just prefer the cleaner lines of the car without.

Mixed opinions on the spoiler! I am going to take it off and run it for a while and see what i prefer. Cant fault the way it drives and it is working out more economical than the 197 i had :)

Thats the one, 17k spent, with receipts from the owner that bought it in 2009! Got it for a fair bit less than advertised as well so defo a good buy :)

It is both, Steel blue and the one from up north. Picked it up from aberdeen, it was advertised on ebay, poor advert with poor pictures!

These seats have had slight repairs done but nothing like the 197 Recaros haha. It is originally an R reg, 1998

Thanks for the comments? I have not really got any plans for it apart from getting a tiny bit of rust on the bonnet edge sorted. It's already had all the suspension replaced, all bushes replaced and has mega history! It wasn't my first choice of colour, but it had really grown on me already and...

After selling my 197 to buy my first house i soon got bored of driving a 1.1 Peugeot 206 so bought my self a very clean BMW 328i sport. Its done 130k but drives like its done 30k!

Hi mate I ordered this set, http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h1-55w-new-smart-canbus-hid-kit-slim/ Just fitted them this afternoon and they are brilliant! Slim ballasts fit on the underside of the headlamps and the wiring is very straight forward! Highly reccomended!

Has anyone actually purchased a lower ball joint (in the hub assembly) rather than having to but the full assembly from Renault? I have searched this forum and 197.net but there are no links to where people have got them. Any help is much appreciated!

Very true, think i like the mini because you dont see many about, think ill keep mine for weekends once its done and use the 197 as my daily.

You will be glad to get that sorted! Hes good down there i got my timing belt etc done a few weeks ago before i sold my 172. I dont actually work down near rentec we just get our mots done at the garage along from rentec so chances are i wont be down there but ill keep an eye out if i am ;)
