A mixture of products from SnowFoam, Poorboys, Blackfire, and Auto Finesse. He also has a Porter-Cable random orbit polisher, paint gauge and knows how to use it, which is why I let him spend all day doing it instead of me :p
A friend spent all day detailing my 182 today... I took a few shots this evening. Here are a couple.

I know HDR is not to everyone's taste, but I think these shots of some friends' cars came out OK, despite being massively overdone !

Took a few photos at last night's meet... there were 60+ cars there but we went to eat and by the time we finished a load of them had left
This is my mate's Lamborghini Diablo SV Roadster - the only RHD version in the UK.
(The Mercielago is his too  )

Broken front spring, leaking exhaust, worn rear discs, rattling heat shield over exhaust, irritating rattle coming from passenger seat bracket, leaking headlight washer despite fitting a one way valve (the right way round) two weeks ago.
That's enough for now.
Which is why I do the vast majority of work on my car myself... however, the MOT inspector is VOSA qualified and SHOULD have spotted a broken spring IMHO. The whole point of an MOT is to check that a vehicle is safe to drive on the public highway. I don't believe that this broke in the last week...
It could have broken, but it's only two miles from the MOT test centre to my house and the car hasn't moved for a week. There is no way it would get that rusty in just a week... it must have been like that for a while.
I don't want to name and shame the trader (yet)- I am going to speak to...
My MOT ran out recently and in desperation I booked it into the only place that could do it the next day.
Unfortunately that was Kwik-Fit...
It failed on a worn nearside strut top mount :dapprove: - everything else was fine. Not a problem... they're not brill on these cars so I ordered a new...
My 182 just failed the MOT on the nearside top mount... funny thing is I had it changed under warranty (from the dealer I bought the car from) last September and I've only done about 3000 miles since !
Renault just quoted me £52 for the mount, and the additional washer kit which is supposed to...
I've got a brand new RENAULT splitter in my front room thanks to a garage who broke mine getting my car off their ramps last week.
I've also got a Skoda one in the shed that I bought 'just in case'...
So, do I fit the Skoda one and sell the OEM one, or fit the proper one ?
My 182 has been into the garage I bought it from a couple of times for them to try and resolve a knocking when turning left or right at low speed (ie pulling out of a junction). It sounded like a dodgy CV joint or knackered drive shafts so they've replaced them both (under warranty) but the...
I was quite lucky to get that one TBH... I was on a boat at the Bournemouth Air Festival last Sunday and it snuck up behind us !!!
The Merlin is a beast :)
I think I could clone the sky quite easily to expand the frame... can't do anything about the rotor being chopped off the top though :(
