I’ve just sorted the water that was coming into my footwells, to find that I’m getting an odourless oil in my footwell. There’s not a lot of it and the only thing I can think of it being is that this is coolant?
Can’t think of it being anything else. Anyone had this issue?
Decided, after my work gave me a van in January, to bring the LY 182 out for a drive today, followed by a go in the Cessna 172.
Very happy now no water comes into the foot wells, water was coming in the heater matrix (Center console).
Probably the last bit of good weather this year, so I made...
Spotted, a blue V6 leaving Old Catton heading to Spixworth (Norfolk). Today at 17:30 ish
Had trade plates in the windows.
Anyone on here? Never seen it before
Passed an Inferno 182 leaving Norwich yesterday mid afternoon, I was in the LY 182.
Nice to see an Inferno, it's been a while since I've seen one.
Got a cheerful wave and flash of lights.
There is currently an Iceberg 172 in a blocked off lay-by near snetterton, on the A11.
It was there early this morning and is still there this evening.
Oval exhaust and very non standard wheels, didn't get any reg details as was driving past.
Anyone?
just changed the driveshaft and refilled the gearbox oil. No problem.
came out this morning to find a tiny bit of gearbox oil on the driveway, looks like its dripping from the driveshaft, but not at the gear box, at the other end of the rubber seal. Is this normal or a fault considering I filled...
Right Boys and Girls, with Winter now thankfully out of the way I'd like to propose a meet somewhere in the East. I know that recently there was a big meet in Bury St Edmunds which I couldn't get to due to working, but I'd like to do maybe a Norwich based meet or somewhere in that area.
Any...
I've decided to get my wheels refurbished, due to the fact that every monday I have to fill the front wheels back up due to corrosion on the rims.
I'e already got my self a set of basic tyres, Avon's as I travel quite a distance for work and need some that will last a while. They've been good in...
Brice Autos down Griffin lane in Norwich. Top bloke and mechanic. If you show up with a Clio Sport members card he'll knock 5% off your bill. He'll piss and moan about your car being a Renault but he is northern, so just mock him about that. https://www.facebook.com/BriceAutos
I decided it was the perfect time yesterday to get my brakes, dampers and to sort out the water coming into my footwells....
I have now got all the below fitted. These include Mintex discs front and back, Mintex rear pads, Bosch front pads, Monroe rear dampers and what was intended to be...
I've decided to bring my tired little 182 LY back to its former glory by giving it some early christmas presents.
*New shocks
*New springs
*New brakes (discs and pads)
*New wheel colour (currently dark grey turini's, will be silver)
What is best for a 182 that won't leave me sobbing in a corner...
I am making this a thread purely because I don't know time or place yet, I'd like to go for the 4th of July though because the weekend after I will be in Corfu.
Hopefully the weather will be fantastic and we may do food somewhere or pub garden like the last meet.
Let everyone know if your...
Best looking replica I've ever seen, did meet the owner but didn't hang around or get a picture.
The only reason I know it was a replica was because he told me so, very nice!
Hey everyone,
My wife has a Racing Blue 182 CUP, and it's nickname is Pig.
This is due to the fact that it has an electrical fault that puts it into limp mode, about 2500 RPM. It had this fault 2 years back, due to the wiring loom having a fray in it somewhere i'm guessing, so instead of...
Hey Hey everyone!
It's been cold, wet and the last meet I set up a meet only one person came to. Sooooo I'm going to try again, on April 4th.
I'm hoping the weather by this point will be dryer, warmish and generally just darn nice. If you are interested let everyone know by saying so here!
As per usual mine and my wife's luck with our 182's has struck again...
This time it was hers though so it's not all bad here
We were on route to Middlesbrough from Norwich, so not a small drive, when as we were passing Hull, her car went into limp mode..... great joy. Now we had this...

This Renault garage is doing an offer on cam belts at the moment. They quoted me £380 for cam belt change, dephaser pully and Accessory belt kit. This is including time and including VAT. Also get a courtesy car.
I am booked in needless to say...
Right boys and girls, I am going to see how many people are interested in doing a Norwich meet in the near future. Kind of a get to know you all type of thing.
Now I know the weather will be lousy and evenings are getting darker but I am still thinking we need one before Christmas.
So it's not...
Boo Yaa! I got area rep for Norfolk, now I know a lot of the local area but I am hoping to get a few more on board with local and area meets.
It'd be good to meet some new faces and catch up with old ones, so in the near future I am going to put a Norfolk meet up on this forum.
INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

Just saw this pop up, not 100% sure if they were a CSS member or not. Even if not, I'm sure I passed this car when I went to work each day, great great shame to read this
