Rear bumper fits, to fit the skirts you need the wings as the clip into them and to fit the wings you need the front bumper :) Rear bumper is totally independent
Sorry for the terrible quality of the photos, they were taken on my iPhone.
As you can see my Sport bumper and 197 rear diffuser have arrived and are getting fitted on the 2nd of Feb as i've been helping a mate out with his car so we are waiting to get mine done too. I've had it all re-sprayed...
You've been quoted £200-300 for the side strips i'm gathering?
Thats a massive rip off mate, got both of mine done for £90. Shop around some more :) Or just buy my car as it'll be up for sale in the next couple of weeks after the 197 bumper and new exhaust are on. Much easier than the hassle of...
I have a Clio MK3 non sport and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some drilled and grooved discs from?
I know KTec do some drilled discs but a few people I have spoken to have had problems with the cracking after around 4k miles and don't make much in the way of a difference...
No, to fit the 197 skirts you need to fit the 197 wings as they slot into them. To fit the 197 wings you need the 197 front bumper which is a pain to fit as it's bigger than the existing one
I've got some hub centric spacers for sale if you want them. £50 for the pair. If I was you I'd save up and wait instead of buying something which isn't very reliable.
Nice one bud thanks! It didn't seem too outrageous but just wanted to compare against everyone else really. That's helpful I guess :) still can't make my mind up if I should go for this or wait a year and get a Nismo 350z. I'll give them a ring but I think you may be right about the age
It's through Bell/admiral.. I have a multicar policy at the moment and I know you can't get quotes for them online so im
hoping if I ring up I'll be able to get around the £1000 mark. Seeing as I pay £536 a year for a 1.4 ~£1000 does seem pretty reasonable
So I'm 19, turn 20 in May. I have been playing with some insurance quotes and I thought id try one out on a Clio 197 R27 F1.
The quote returned as £1,140 fully comp.
To me this seems extremely good considering I've only just gotten my 2nd year no claims. Is this as reasonable to everyone...
**UPDATE**
I haven't really been doing anything to the car as of late but the other day I thought I'd treat myself to a 197 bumper. So that will be being fitted in the New Year.
The work horse is on it's last legs and am currently in the process of looking for a replacement. At the moment I have a Diesel 2L Peugeot 206 Y Reg and has served it's purpose as it gets unbelievable MPG.
Wanting something a bit more lavish than the Pug this time round though.
Posted on here previously but had some updates since so here it is, my MK3 Non-Sport..
A few of these photos aren't with my CUP spoiler fitted but they are my current favourite shots of the car :)
Ahh cheers mate! It's coming up for sale soon so sell yours and buy mine ;) if you need a hand with anything let me know and I'll do my best to help you out
** This car will be coming up for sale in the next few months, if you're interested in buying it then message me for details, would be an ideal first car **
