'02 1.5 Dci Alternator

Hello people,

Really hope someone can help me I own a '02 Clio 1.5 dci and the alternator has packed up. A local supplier wants over £230 for a replacement. Ive seen on Ebay and other sites alternators that claim to fit my model of clio for a fair bit cheaper but the part numbers don't seem to be the same. Does anyone know if these alternate alternators fit or will I need to flog out for the like for like model. Thanks for your help in advance.

What model of dci have you got? (65, 80 or 100)

reconditioner ? works out cheaper sometimes. warrenty on most aswell

If you can find the make and serial number I bet a genuine one isn't that dear.

cheaper from you than his nearest renault dealer

Hey its a 65 and the make and model is Valeo Sg12b103 seems to be rare and expensive does anyone know of a cheaper alternative?

I have one spare lying at home that came off a 65, can check if its the same when I get in from work today if you like?
