172 Gear Knob

Im about to get a 172 - the only thing is I really dont like the gear knobs on the Mk2s.

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to remove / replace?

No, i never joke.

(aparently you can use grips and twist it off but you wont take it off undamaged)

You DONT want the alu sphere!!!!! TRUST ME!!!

They came std on the mk1 172 and in winter youve gotta piss on your hand to get it unfrozen off the gearstick, and in summer you better be near an anti-burn ward because these suckers will roast your hand (they can reach upto 50C in the sun)

Apart from that they do look damn good!

Same one as the mk1 172 and they may look nice, but get f*cking hot in summer and bl00dy freezing in winter!
