Hi guys,
Does anyone know whether the steering rack on a 172 is offset from the centre line of the car? when doing the tracking on all of my 172's I have always had unequal length threads on the track rods and more lock one way than the other.
I have measure up a 172 rack off the car and it looks to be that way. I'm yet to measure the subframe to work it all out. But was just wondering if it was widely known?
