182 cup UN-Health noise!!

My mates 182 has an annoyin noise coming from the drivers side wheel or surrounding area? its done 18k, it only apprears when the car is being driven,after it has warmed up? Has anyone had a similar problem?

Is it a sort of faint clicking noise - almost like a stone i stuck in the tyre?

If so, I have the same annoying noise and cannot figure out what it is.

If it's a faint clicking noise ? I'd check the cv joint gaitor clip . They have a tendancy to snap .

It happened on both sides on my 172 , so when i bought my new 182 , as soon as i got it home i put some 10mm cable ties over the clips for extra strength . Touch wood 18 months later they are still doing their job .

It might not be your clips , if it is you'll notice grease from the cv joint inside your wheels .

it doesn't sound like a clicking noise? more of a grinding noise but only under steering not so much in a straight line?
