182 running rich

Holla!

I brought a 54 182 last week with 68k on it, fortunately i work within a workshop and noticed it appeared to be smelling quite rich (as in a quite a strong petrol smell from the exhaust) this doesnt go away at all always smells quite petroly, also noticed my mpg is horrendous! Having owned a 172 before I used to get 34ish on a commute, now getting 26 if im lucky. I plugged it into the computer at work and it did come up as pre lambda fault..(cant remember exact code think it was P0303 or something like that). Just want to make sure 100% before I fork out as I was informed it would of popped on the EML?

When mines was cunted it didt bring on the eml

Sounds right to me but yes it should have brought the light on I would have thought. Mine has gone but my light is on
