195/55/15 r888

iv been offered some R888 for a really good price off a friend, but the profile is different to the usual ph1 profile. Will there be any difference between the 195/50 running now to some 195/55.

Yea, they will be bigger by around 5% of the width of the tyre

Im sure 888 have a softish sidewall, this coupled with the larger sidewall would result in a lot of tyre flex
