Hi a friend of mine has a 2002 Clio which for a while has had a problem where it will randomly stall at junctions and the warning light always comes on on the dashboard. So far it's been to a couple of garages including Renault but after replacing lots of things the problem still persists.
The fault comes up as either fuelling or map sensor fault and here is what has been done.
Lambda replaced
Tps replaced
Map sensor replaced
I cleaned out the throttle body and it seemed ok for about 3000 miles but the problem is back again!!
I read that the black box around the ecu can rub away atvthe wires, checked that this morning and although there was some slight marks none of the wires were bare.
Any ideas where I go from here??
