I've actually had those recaro covers sat in my house for the last 3 years lol but it's been in garages so much I don't want people wearing brand new covers! So finally there in!

Car looks great, although stickers can ruin a car, for some reason, i think they go very well with the car indeed.. i think its becasue its not stickers put on a 1.2 clio, it is stickers on a clio with 310bph! that suits the car

Thats the one! As it turns out everyone was right. I questioned it a lot after. I never got it dyno'd elsewhere but after driving a few 280bhp megs that felt faster and couldnt shake off a 300 bhp mk1 frs on track i delved deeper. There was no way the car was over 300 before, i reckon 280 max! Which sounds about right from jamsports power figures speaking from 95% of people that have had things done by them, fiddled rollers and bodged work just to get your money appears to be the norm for them. But who knows i could be wrong, along with most other unhappy ex customers of theres.

I remember commenting on their rollers about this car nearer the time of mapping on here, and they jumped on me for saying they're normally optimistic. Know quite a few Ford owners in the same boat. Glad it's sorted. Car is definitely one in a million!

Lol yeah, live and learn

They've blagged me a lot over the years, all been bodged. Not impressed at all! Complete cowboys, i was at LEAST 80bhp off what they claimed i had Scharged. I was defensive but i spent a lot of money, after that it sunk in and i questioned it. Then found it was all a pack of lies, terrible work...big row...they wont take responsibilty...i go elsewhere happy days.

I know of lots of people as well that have had exactly the same issues as me. They shouldnt be trading!

197 cams were just to try it as its a forged 197 engine, as for timing etc i couldnt tell you to be honest mate. Think its fixed. Must be as its on R26 managment.

As for the stickers, well it is an R27 lol?

I like Jamie, nice guy and knows his stuff, just another victim of trying to do everything and letting the quality drop!

Only thing I could compare it to is if I became a ford specialist tomorrow off the back of my Renault stuff, even I know that's a daft idea! But at the same time you don't go to a curry house and order an English dish unless you're a Neanderthal

a ly197 with 225 engine 250 turbo and 630 injectors. Quaife diff too.. I bought it nearly done just needs mapping and a new clutch.
I'll probably see how it compares to what else I've got and start clearing stuff out.
