501 interior and sidelight bulbs.

I'm looking at changing the 3 501 bulbs in the map light, glove box light, boot light and sidelights. but im just wondering the difference or peoples opinions on the different options?

You opinions or knowledge please?

Personally, I used Halfords LED sidelight bulbs for my actual sidelights.

For the interior, boot, and number plate bulbs I used canbus 501 LED bulbs from eBay. Much cheaper and do the same job.

What does Canbus mean sorry? would you not use the ebay ones as sidelights?

No need for canbus bulbs. Paying extra for something you don't need

I've got loads of LED's from an eBay seller called partsulike, the item number of the ones I use are 330908390293 (can't link to it on work PC)

Oh right, I only bought canbus as I was under the impression it was needed. They were dirt cheap though.

Boot light is a 38/39mm festoon bulb FYI, not a 501.
