Any Windows geeks online tonight?

Probably a stupid question but I'm not the most computer savvy...

On Vista - RE: Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc)

Trying to expand my C: Drive so I have freed up 16gb of space from my E: Drive which is now showing as unallocated. However when I try to extend/expand the C: Drive the option is greyed out.

Anyone know why?

Using built in disk manager the free space needs to be directly beside the partition you wish to expand.

PITA

Just found this out. All sorted now! Had to create another drive, then copy stuff, then delete to get the free space where I needed it.

Bloody stupid thing. Clearly built by someone who never uses from a consumer perspective lol!

Thanks for the input everyone, much appreciated :D
