Auto Head Lights

Oh Yeah,

Few days ago these stopped working, Rain sensor still works which I assume is the same circuit.

Any idea why these stop coming on Automatically? everything else works ( surprisingly )

Used search also but comes back with nothing but irrelevant crap.

Turn your key to ignition

Switch the lights on/off twice, quite fast. Should hear a beep.

Problem solved

Is it dark,enough for them to come on?

Try covering the rainsensor with a cloth. Could be a faulty sensor.. theres obviously 2 sensors water and light sensors.

It should of beeped once for on and twice for off

Will try when it's pitch black, but was dark enough last time I tried and they normally come on, but will give the reset another go.

On the subject of sensors, does anyone know what the little nipple thing is on the bottom of the passenger side mirror?

Auto lights are annoying anyhow - stops full beam flash working properly.

So nothing of value lost.

Normally a good way of measuring air temp! Lol

Just thought it would of read alot lower say, on the motorway, where there is air hitting it at 80mph etc. But obvs not!

Of course not, air temperature doesn't change with speed. Think you're getting confused with wind chill/convection.
