Nike+ GPS is shat, the free version that ships with the iPhone is better. MapMyFitness/Run/+ is the biggest pile of w**k available on the store. Adidas miCoach is ok, as is SportyPal. But none compare to the awesomeness that is Runkeeper Pro.

As long as you don't background it before you lock it carries on. I could probably explain this better but I'm typing this one handed whilst, ironically, eating a Creme Egg; which btw I bite the top off of and then lick the inners out before consuming the chocolatey goodness. Yeah so I've actually typed more about the Creme Egg than the app...

Yep, still works since the last update. Much better now.
