Hi peeps, couldnt find a "newbies" post so just thought I would post in here, hope no-one minds ;)

Well, I have been lurking on this forum for about a month, reading the posts etc etc but decided to register today (cos I am bored too!)

I have had my Clio 16v for 2 years now, an N reg black one, it was mint when I got it, but I have dinged it a bit, but that will be sorted out, otherwise its totally standard, but thinking of new wheels etc.

been reading the "Spotted" forum, and no-one has seen mine (I think!), am I going too fast??!:D

Anyways, good to be on here, anyone from round the Romford(Essex) area, just moved here 6 months ago from Leamington Spa (warwickshire).

Well, thats it for the mo, unless I think of something witty....probs not then

Hehe, yeah there is this Mel Gibson thing on, not really watching it tho. I am always at work weekend nights, so never go out, would probs just get pissed and pull a kebab or something.

Yeah, there is only so many games of Inklink on Shockwave I can handle lol.

I aint been to Chelmsford in years, and that was only a drive thru job.

There seems to be a few Williams round these parts, at least 2 or 3 by my count, and also a mint Silver V6 too. Must be something to do with Essex....

Bourne ID rocks, know what you mean about disk space, got 30 Gig and its gettin full, damn not having a Burner.

Frickin Kazaa, you search for a movie, download it and it aint the right film as the name, I hate that. I downloaded Towers 2, got American Beauty...but it was good tho. Anyways

LMAo @ the German Porno...I of course steer well clear of anything like that...but yep, broadband rocks for scabbing free stuff off the net, the 700meg ones i have downloaded have been top quality considering they were ripped from a DVD and put down to that file size.



Oh, and yeah there are a few of the old Cabriolets out there, although strangely short on Capris...

Haha, well, Ive never been in one, my mate bought a rust bucket of one last year, wouldnt trust him driving it tho so never got in it. Hardly any around these days..

Been in a capri once - felt like I was on the bridge of a boat looking over that huuuge bonnet! Now Escort RS Turbos... theyre a *proper* essex car... ;)

Hi Ben H, yeah I think I will, my mates reckon they are 16s, does look like it from a distance on the black clios. I wish id got a naples red one now, but still love the old girl in black. Yours looks in better condition to mine! I got some dents need sorting, otherwise she would be mint. You got leather or cloth interior?

S-Dee, how do you keep your wheels round Ilford?! bet the insurance would be high. I am paying £650 fully comp with £300 excess round here, parked on road etc etc. I cant lie cos my insurers are in the same bloody town as me! lol

Actually saying about Capris, has ne1 watched the professionals on Granada plus (quality show), anyway some1 around by me (Bristol) has got one of the Ford Capris from the show, one of the gold 3litre v6s. Its well nice!!!

I know theyre 15s, just from a distance people (and me) reckon the Phase2 alloys look like they are 16s. Strange but true.

I wanted leather, but glad i didnt get it, cos its a pain in the summer, doesnt it burn your ass off?!

Most people have stickers on their rear windows, you should be able to notice mine BTW its one of a few white valvers around... If you see me flash me up to have a chat. BTW would you like to high beach for a meet this weekend to meet some of the gang, if so I can meet up with you on the A127/M25 roundabout...

Yeah, if your around the Romford area mate, will do. Ive seen a few smart looking Meganes round here too. White 16v should be easy to see!

Well, I work at the weekends but not a lot, depends when you go, and where the hell is High Beach??!! Dont know this area very well to be honest. :p

Ahhh, just read the post and looked at the map, so it means going on the North Circular then? I could make it, not much on on a Sunday.

Thing is, my car looks like a frickin shed compared to others in here! I think I will be cleaning it all Saturday! A few too many dings. Would be worth seeing the V6s and others cars tho.

As long as it isnt a typical "gathering" that you see on Police Camera Action each week Im up for it! :D

How many people you got going?
