Bought a pair of new cup rear shocks a couple of months ago

Off a Renault parts seller on ebay. Noticed yesterday one of them has shat the fluid all out. Is there some sort of unseen warranty with brand new parts or is it up to sellers discretion? As I doubt the new shocks have even covered 2000 miles.

I doubt they were proper 'sport' ones, I bought some cheapo's once - lasted 2 months before pissing fluid all over my freshly block paved drive.

These were proper renault 182 cup shocks, part number was confirmed as being these by fred @ btm, cost me near enough £100 for the pair
