Done a few little things over the weekend, engine bay was cleaned up having been sprayed or just a good clean. Wipers/covers all removed, cleaned then dressed with AF revive. I also painted the door pulls (didn't take pictures) looking at wheels being refurbed this week then a good service.

2/3 day turn around at Pentland so will try to get them in this week if not next. Looking at maybe just a full service, belts were done at around 56k only on 62k but they were done almost 5 years ago. Trying to weight it all up. Rentec wanted almost £600 for belt change which surprised me

Yeah they aren't the cheapest. Swr in Stirling would be cheaper and are very good. Bare in mind my old flamer ph1 belts were nearly 5yrs old and went and took out the engine. But hard to justify that outlay on a cheap car, hence why so many get sold when they are due, or they get left and snap.

I've had a few dealings with SWR stirling, every time they've been spot on and are great with Clio's mate defo recommend!

Done a few more things recently, wheels have been refurbished and has made a huge difference.
Calipers all painted silver
Arches cleaned/detailed and screws replaced
More polishing - what a difference from using a rotary to an orbital polisher, personally think orbital winds hands down

Ah i see i have bought one aswell ph2 looking to be starting track days i think. 197 is good had to finally put a gearbox in it though but all good just back on the road last month. I have pm'd you about working for Renault

Looks fantastic Ben. Pentland done a good job on the wheels. Side strips could do with some products. Cooksports would finish it off too. Great work. Very rare in black too
