Bucket seats

Are fibre glass seats road legal?

I should imagine they are not too comfy though?

I want a pair of seats that are lighter than standard but not some £500 carbon fibre jobs.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Most, nearly all bucket seats will be lighter than normal. Ive got some sparco sprints and they weigh nearly half as much as the standard seats.

Cheers, what are they like for comfort?

I dont really do many long journeys, but do spend a fair bit of time in rush hour traffic.

The seats themselves are really huggable and comfy. I prefer them to the standards. The driving positon is also great, but getting the subframes can be a nightmare, so look into that before buying the seats.

However i tend to get back ache from longer journeys as the seating position tends to cause my back to arch forward a little. But a massage from the GF soon sorts that out.;)
