hi my mate as a 172 ph1 which is on around 95k,when is the next cambelt change and aux belt.also there is a whilstling noise coming from this area of the engine could this be a pulley or something like that.cheers for any help carl.

Thought i'd rebump this as i cant find what am after so ill put it here.

I have the same sort as whistling noise as the OP stated and mines 115k, is there any way of knowing if the cars had the change? As i know nothing of the history of mine bar a few MOT's lol. Also what is that whistling noise by any chance also?:S

Cambelt is due every 72k, or 5 years from the previous change, whatever comes first!
