camera for my dad

well its his birthday soon and atm he has a 6mp normal small digi cam and he wants a better cam,

not got much money so i went to currys to look at this

looks quite decent, cant afford a d50 or anything so thought this could the next thing down???

I have also just bought one of these, Took it to New York recently and turned out to be a very good camera for the money. The 10x zoom is also really useful.

The Fuji S-range are good cameras, couldn't tell you how they compare with the likes of the Panasonic etc. though. Don't worry about the batteries, just get him a decent set of rechargeables and you can then use them as if they were a lithium.
