Hi guys,
i am sure this is a stupid question but here goes Just got a 172 the other day and am a little puzzled with regards to the central locking. the key i have looks to be a spare replacement made up one, which works in all of the doors and boot, bu does not centrally lock the car nor does it have a button for remote central locking, eventhough i have a lock all doors button just near the cigarette lighter inside the car.
am i missing something here? do W reg 172's have remote and key central locking? If so then i will get a cheap remote alarm fob off ebay and get it programmed to my car or phone renault to get an official set of spare keys but just want to check first.
Any help, would be appreciated.
