'Check Emissions' Warning Message On 197

I was driving back from Amsterdam when the engine management light come on and the 'Check Emissions' warning message appeared. Would anyone know what this might mean? The car has a powerflow catback on it, not too sure about the cat if its sports or standard. I know it's not a decat though. The car still runs perfectly fine. Would just like to know what this could possibly be.

Can't say for sure without plugging it in - Plug it in, kill the code and you're done for another few hundred miles (if you're lucky) before it comes back again.
