Nice car mate, keep mods subtle as looks best. Ive just added ph2 rear lights and in my opinion look much better than the red ph1's and only cost about £30.:)

im cleaning her again 2day mate lol,too many bugs on her after a bit of 'spirited' driving last night lol

Looking good, I can't even rember mine looking standard like yours, had the rear lights changed with 3 hours of getting the car lol

I part-detailed mine today, no pics as my camera battery is flat.

Whereabouts in Wiltshire are you - we could have a Black 172 Mk1 meet!

Can i join the black ph1 club?? :)

I gave mine a bit of a clean today too, thought i would share with you.

I also changed my rear lights within weeks for ph2's with silvervision bulbs all round, to get rid of fried egg look.

Also colourcoded the sidestrips in pearl black and callipers yellow (dont really like callipers on reflection :dapprove:) and ITG panel filter.

Next is stealth exhaust and lowering i think, and steering wheel re-trim!

Theres one on here for £3500 with 117k.......
I would have said around £3k private as I reckon the one above is abit steep.
Your not going to sell it on here though cos there a tight lot and everyone knows how much you paid for it though. From what I can see the condition is stunning for the miles.

thanks mate :)

as you can imagine there are a few stone chips and small dings but i expected that with the price, thing is it drives nice and tight, does smoke rattle or use oil ans water,i hpi'd her and she clean as a whistle,3 owners from new, never crashed etc and full ren history :)

just need to do a few bits and pieces and il be well chuffed

well the interior door pulls have gone all nasty and looked horrid and dirty and no amount of cleaning helped,i then spotted a tin of paint in the garage and a plan was hatched lol
