Cleaning up oil

Hi all

Just a quick one, this weekend I'm going to be tackling repairing the vacuum pump on my E46.

One of the steps in the guide is cleaning the inside of it to remove the oil as below:

Now would G101 be up to the job if used quite undiluted? as I have some of this in the garage.

If not Ill pick up some degreaser when I nip to halfords for gasket sealant.

Brake and clutch cleaner is pretty good for cleaning bits up
