FF LY 182
My 02 Clio 1.2 8v has this violent 'jolting' problem which occurs when I begin to accelerate, particularly in the low rev range. It then seems to go away if I depress the clutch pedal and give it a few revs. Strange :S.
I initially took it to my local garage who gave it the once over and concluded that it needed a new lower engine/gearbox mount (dogbone). This seemed to solve the problem, until about a week passed and the problem returned.
My car has been doing this for a while now, and i've taken it to Renault to have a look. Sods law, on the day that I took it in it wasn't playing up, and they couldn't find anything wrong :dapprove:. It's an intermittant problem but its becoming more frequent and also worse.
