Clio 182 noisy engine

Hi,

Can anyone kindly send me contact details for any specialist in the Bedford area.

I have a 2004 clio 182 which has a noise engine at idle but seems to disappear when you increase the revs.

If the noise disappears as the revs go past ~1700rpm, then its probably the dephaser that has gone. This is the pulley on the inlet cam. When they wear, they start to rattle. Its a new pulley and cambelt job, so around £600 at a specialist
