Clio problems - not sport

  F20 118d, Clio 172
Hello,

I have a clio 1.2 16v expression. The car starts up and ticks over fine but no response from the throttle. Diagnostic scan has come back with the following

531- pedal potentiometer circuit track 1, circuit to earth.
197 - throttle angle sensor circuit short to earth
589 pressure sensor refernce voltage short to earth.

Seems to be abit of a theme here.... any ideas ?

The cars sunroof leaked at some stage and the interior has sustained water damage.

You've pretty much answered you're own question. Get on your knees and pray to the French electrical god that it's just a broken connection and nothing hidden behind numerous bolts. Worst case you need to fit a need throttle pedal(which might work out cheaper)

Its obviously an earth problem, plain to see. Im assuming water may have gotten to some of the wiring causing the short, but im not entirely sure where to start.
