Clio so far...

this is my 93 14. RT when i first got it with 80k and no MOT, all it needed was cleaned up anti roll bar and back adjusters http://www.freewebs.com/dermy/clio.jpg http://venus.walagata.com/w/dermy/clioinside.jpg

things i have done to it so far include,

fixed rusty wheel arch, MOMO alloys, gear knob, blue leather gaiter, twin 3" stainless steel Scorpion exhaust, sunstrip, clear side repeaters, blue wiper fins, colour coded the mirrors, full set of leather sports seats from a 19 16v, a MOMO stearing wheel, Blue "clio" sholder pads, fitted blue neons to footwells and roof, removed the towbar, tinted the windows, fitted proformance air filter, got a tune up, lexus lights, fitted a boot spoiler and kenwood mp3/wma player.

personally i would lose all the sticky on bits, bit more colour coding, make more of a cut out for the exausts bit of lowering, then you have got yourself a pretty decent first car.

just needs tidying up a little.
1. Exhaust needs cutting in to the bumper properly.
2. Lose the sunstrip, wipers, neon and lexus lights.
3. Add some later model/valver bits.
4. Colour code the strips.
5. Lower the beast

like most others have said it just needs a few thing sdone mate. I would remove sunstrip, lexus lights, wiper things and the neons. Then I would lower it, sort the exhaust, colour code it and then maybe a valver bonnet or something. Once that was done I would also change the colur of the steering wheel as it seems to let the interior down, which otherwise looks really good.

All in all mate its an OK car which wit a bit of work could be really good.

mate where did u get that throttle body adaptor to relocate the induction kit? its a three bolt fixing from what i can see right?

the TB adaptor is off a 1.8 laguna it just bolts in perfect fit, with breather hose connection etc too.

hey dermy, ide say keep the lexus lights if YOU like them. i lik emine, thats why theyre staying. Get some silvervision indicater bulbs though, make the lights so much better

get that exhaust straightened, probly just needs undoing, twisting, retightening, will look loads better. could get someone to maybe extend the recess in teh bumper too so it suits the twin exhaust better.

sunstrips cool enough, i got one myself, if you like it you keep it!

definatly lower it! if you keep your eye on the other for sale section, you can guarantee someone will be selling some lowering springs for about 30 quid then get the torsion bar lowered to match.

dont like that steering wheel at all lol if you go on ebay you can get momos for 50 quid!

i like the lexus lights and sunstrip too, ill be getting a black leather wheel soon to match the seats, theres a lot of ramps where i live tho thats whats puttin me off lowerin it

wiper thingies were just stuck on cuz they were lying about doing nothing lol

thats usually how it works with little things like that. youll have some stickers lying around or somethin n its a shame to have them just sit there doin nothin so you find somewhere to use em lol.

round my area in friar park wednesbury, i can guarantee you 75% of our roads have speed humps. im dropped 80 mil at the back, 55 at the front and its fine if took sensibly.

drop it 35/40 mil, look loads better!

yea mine is a 1.4 3 bolt fixing, i dont know the part no. jus t go to a breakers yard and find a 1.8 laguna or 1.8 volvo 440, it fits on perfect and works great

if you cant get one im me and ill see if i can get more
