where can you get custom springs made, and what sorta prices am i looking at?

and if you lower your car 60mm on standard shocks does it give less of a drop?

Lowered my car 60mm last night and had to use standard shocks in the end, it hasnt given the drop id hoped for.
Wondered if the base plate of the shock sits higher on standard shocks over shortened ones. Thus making it higher..

coilsprings do custom springs. give them a phone. keano payed £100 for his to be made but thats the rear ones only. also if your going lower than 60mm then better off getting coilovers mate as standard shocks will fail.

some springs say they will lower by 60mm and they actually dont so it could be down to the springs that you never got the desired drop not the shocks and also you need to give them a few days for the springs to settle in if they are new.

yeh i wouldnt go any lower on the standard shocks.
