cup and ff 12 mpg?

Just a quick question, do 172 cup owners get an average mpg which is better than full fat 172 owners? or is it not really noticable?

8% lighter, or 1/12 of the car was removed, so of course under the same conditions you can expect better mpg.

Also aided by the fact that there's no aircon belt to have to turn either.

Maybe you need to press the reset button on the trip computer :rasp::rasp:

i do..... it hovers around 37mpg and sticks there after about 10 mins :lolup:

The hell, If I drive at normal speeds, it'll sit about 40mpg...

as SOON as I hit a b-road and give it a LITTLE... it drops to about 34.

never had any more that 38, so impressive when you think about it, 170bhp 2.0 16v engine and still gets near 40mpg, awesome

Agreed tbh.
170 bhp diesels won't do much better than that consistently.

It is impressive , one of the reasons i was tempted back to one. I run a 115bhp Golf Tdi as well and average about 48-49 in that. So when you work out the price diff in petrol and diesel the clio is almost as good.
