decat to yozza fitment question

i already have a yozza super-sports cat back on my ph1 172 and got my k-tec decat today should be being fitted tomorro.

on the flange where the decat meets the cat back there is a lip around 3mm sticking out of the flange. am i right in thinking that will need grinding down so that it meets the cat back or will it just bolt straight onto the yozza?

afaik you need to use a clamp.

lol i was thinking back to when you fitted my cat back and was sure you cut that lip off, dude if you wernt on holiday u know i would have come see ya but im ashamed to say i had one on your favourite companies decat pipe fitted today near my work
