Hi,
Can seem to find an answer to this ...
My Clio 182 gearbox, drivers side out pit has a seal and behind the seal is a 50mm nut with a collapsable shoulder and a shim holding in a taper roller bearing.
I’ve tried reusing the nut - but keeps working loose.
Can anyone tell me the part number or where to source a replacement please???

That nut is 130nm and also has loctite mate. I’ve never had one work loose and I’ve rebuilt a lot of jc5’s.

Cheers, the threads on the nut are shot (not on the shaft though) .. obviously not the 1st time it’s been off.
Is it available to order?

Ah right ok, yeah that’s been cross threaded then by the sounds of it. Definitely available to order mate yeah, but I don’t have the part number.

Into my local renault dealers to see if I could source this ... they haven’t a clue. The mechanics and the lad in parts were probably still in nappies when my car was built!
Can anyone get me the part no’s? Please
