Dirty then clean

I finally had a lunch break today, so thought i'd take advantage and give the Clio it's first clean in about 8 months.


It had developed a pretty impressive layer of dirt and dust over it (Protects the paint, see).


Now all the detailers please look away now, as I literally just sprayed it, jet washed it and dried it - I only had half an hour lol.


Still, even though it has some scratch marks that have developed, (Which shall be taken care of shortly - anyone wanna detail it?) it still looks fantastic
(Eventhough Photobucket raped the quality )

And I Really need to clean the bay!

To answer everyones comments, I will be doing the wheels red when someone is noce enough to lend me some wheels to leave mine standing on.. (Cough hint cough)


I am also thinking of swapping the front plate for a normal sized but recessed into the bumper slot - I think that would look pretty good.


I am also tempted with spacers, not surte what size though?

The engine bay will be properly cleaned in good time, as I need ot dismantle half of it to do a good job lol

It's Porsche grey Black, off the GT3 RS I believe and last time it was on a set of rollers it made 208bhp and 178 lb ft of torque

I think the centrebore is too small but I have a few spare set of wheels from mx5..

Although I have some 16" compomotives gathering dust down at my dad's that I will get him to check for me!

Yeah the MX wheels are too small, as I tried a set off a mates car on my other Clio, but big thanks on the possibility of the 16s! :star:

Lol! Yeah it was pretty bad wasn't it

I'm just holding off on the engine until we have finished the map and (Hopefully) it may mean I won't need to swap engines - then it will get a proper dressing ( is your rocker cover painted? I can't remember and I'm tempted to paint it)

Great car and great colour!
Think it suited being dirty though as it looked mean. Especially how dirty the exhaust tip was

But for it just being a wash it does come up very well the shine
