Drivers Door Handle Boken?

Hi Guys

Had a search but could find no complete answer to what i need to know.

Basically went to open my drivers door tonight from the outside and the handle made a clunking sounds and didnt open the door.

Trying the handle now i can feel something moving inside the door but its no longer connected to the latch?

Heard things about a plastic clip that holds it together, can this be bought or is it a whole new lock mechanism?

Got an MOT retest on monday so quick replies would be greatly appreciated...

Its like a threaded rod and the handle clips onto it, you need to remove the door card then you can clip it back in if it has popped out.

The threaded end of the rod is still attached to the handle fine, it's the other end I'm having issues with, please have a look at my thread here:

You just need the white plastic part I would think going from the other thread, could ask @renaultWolverhampton if its a part that can be bought seperately but I would think you need to buy a new whole mechanism. So best to buy a second hand one off ebay cheapest poss and take it out of there.

This is from a 1.1 but might be the same clip, someone else might know
