Dual optic problems!

  low ph1
So i wired in some dual optics, following the guide i found on here, everything seemed to be okay except from the full beam. It takes ages to switch from dip to full and when it does they are dim. Like someone is trying to light up the road with a candle.

Not really sure where i've gone wrong, Anyone?

Cheers.

Try using this diagram of the connector, it's clearer. One on the right is the earth wire which goes to both bulbs.

No worries, I had exactly the same when I first wired them up.

Also, have you put a fuse in? Check it hasn't blown if you have. The headlights should stay on with the full beam.

Is there any easy way round this as the missus`s ph1 doesnt have the fuse terminals, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Without the fuse the lights 'swap' - the headlights go off when the high beam goes on.

Is there just an empty space or is the fuse box a different shape?
