dynamique wheels question

hiya guys i have got standard dynamique wheels on my dynamique :rasp: lol the tyre size is 185/55/15 as most of you will know basically all i want to know is if i could fit 185/45/15 tyres to them?

Course they will fit mate.

the middle number is just the thickness of the tyre. so if u have 45, then they will be 1 inche thinner than 55.

Meaning a lower profile. sumthing like that

i thought it was measured in millimetres? so the tyre will be 1cm thinner

that doesnt refer to the size directly, it is a percentage of the tyre width.

for example a 185/55/15 tyre has a profile height which is 55% of the width.

you wanna put 195/50's on it though, perfect tyres and dirt cheap.

As Pepsi says. Common misconception.

I think you will struggle to find 185/45/15.

If I were you and I wasn't too bothered about looks, I would go for 195/45/15. Handles very well but does increase arch gap and put the speedo out considerably.

Try 195/50 they wear the rear liners a bit so idealy check for how muc they catch and remove the nut etc. but are cheaper.
