ECU faulty - under warrenty

think the ecu is faulty, think its puttin in too much petrol, exhuast fumes smellin of unburnt petrol n theres petrol sittin on the exhuast tips, also the fuel consumption has been suffering greatly recently. is this the ecu? and if there is a problem with it, can it be fixed under warrenty? its december 2001 built btw.

Could be a Duff Upstream lambda Sensor.. Duff Cat, infact a few things..

Probably need some new spark plugs.

Send it back the the dealer and get them to have a look but if they want to chnage you tell them youll do it yourself.

Migh bet the ECU but Spark plugs is my guess.

A manurfacturing fault in the ECU or any part is covered under warently.

will be warranty but very doubtful it would be an ecu fault.

Does this happen when you first start the car?

If so, its completely normal.

no, alot of the time, and its not normal coz its never done it before the last few weeks, cheers for the elp though guys, ill look into it.
