dont know if it should be in here or engine section but

where do i find the ecu and how could i check if its been chipped .
was told it had been but he lost the receipt

the ECU is just behind the battery. I wouldn really chase up about the map as they dont make much of a difference. but it will more than likely have a higher rev limit if its chipped

i know sooner they are off the better , still the wrx i swapped it with blew the clutch 4hrs later and all he kept on about was the dumpvalve
