Engine Management Light Flashing??

This has happened twice now, only flashes for 30secs then goes off again.

Car hasnt been feeling right lately though, when starting it turns over ok but couple of times has taken a bit longer to start. Also been juddering slightly and when the light flashed on earlier it seemed to lose power but once the light went off the power was back to normal.

Any ideas/help please?

Recently had this with my 172 cup, although your avatar is a 197 so may be different. Mine was a faulty injector. Cheap code reader is a wise purchase as I would guess its probably stored the code.
