Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to make my car sound a bit better but I don't want it to just be loud and droney, I've got a mk3 clio 1.2 with original exhaust, it has a centre box and a back box, any suggestions welcome,

Take center box put fit a straight through mid section. Could get one custom made wouldn't cost much

My friend did that but it didn't sound that great in my opinion, another friend of mine has a clio 1.2 mk 2 with no centre box standard but he has a sported back box, it doesn't sound that good, the pitch stays the same throughout the revs but I was wandering if it would sound any different with a centre box still attached and an aftermarket back box?
